What is the objective of Code O Botics?
Our objective is to engage students with their curious minds and provide them challenges that stretch them. The coding, robotics and LEGO elements combine to develop their STEAM abilities and assist in their learnings at school.
Which programs do Code O Botics use?
LEGO Robotics, Coding, 3D, Printers and Sphero elements, the programs are designed to develop STEAM literacy through interactive experiences that align with different age groups and skill levels.
Does my child need any coding experience?
Nope! We believe all children have the ability to learn how to code without any prior experience.
How are the programs taught?
The small group programs are taught in a friendly, supportive and safe environment that encourages students to ask questions and express themselves. We want children to interact with each other in a social way so they can also learn from each other.
Does the students need to bring in any laptop or ipads ?
No, We will be providing all the equipment’s.
What’s the duration of the classes?
1.5 to 2 hours
What is STEAM and how is it incorporated in the Code O Botics program?
Science
Each model provides kids with a new scientific insight. Lessons focus on topics including laws of motion, the concept of physical science and requires children to apply what they’ve learned in their build.
Technology
Technology implements the use of science to invent and problem solve. Children use their analytical skills to discover solutions to problems presented in each lesson.
Engineering
Engineering uses the practical application of science to design and create. Unbeknownst to kids, they use engineering skills to build models including bridges, towers and roller coasters.
Art
Art involves personal expression, visual thinking and solving problems using the creative mind. Children get an opportunity to design something that is uniquely their own.
Maths
Children are given the opportunity to use maths skills as they estimate, count, measure and build. Problem solving skills will be utilised whilst creating new and exciting designs.
